Bayard Men’s League Meeting Minutes 2025

Meeting called to order a 7:13 P.M. by president John Araujo.

Meeting minutes for last meeting were distributed for members to read. Unanimous vote to approve last meeting minutes.

Treasurers Report: Balance of $. Kevin Wolverton brought up closing account on Bayard Men’s Golf Association and opening an account for Bayard Men’s League so that as officers change signers on the account can be changed. Rollie Bauer brought up check of last years payouts. Mitch Carpenter made a motion to approve. Chance White second. Motion approved.

NOMINATIONS FOR LEAGUE OFFICERS

John Araujo – President. Moved, second and approved.

Rollie Bauer – Vice President. Moved, second and approved.

Kevin Wolverton – Treasurer. Moved, second and approved.

Chance White – Secretary. Moved, second and approved.

OLD BUSINESS

2023 GIHN Dues – All were paid back to Chimney Rock Golf Course

2024 League Start Time – Approved for start anytime on Thursday.

2024 Turning in cards for score keeping – Approved for Monday.

2024 Tournament match days – Approved for Monday and Thursday.

2024 Tournament substitutes – Approved for listed subs only.

2024 Donation to golf course $2000.00 – Approved.

NEW BUSINESS

2025 League Dues $90 for members, $45 for subs. Moved Kevin W. Second Mike H. Approved

2025 Scorecard turn in date changed to Sunday. Moved Jim L. Second Colter R. Approved

2025 Start date April 24 with no postponement for rain out. Moved Jim L. Second Ron H. Approved

Scramble events will remain a three for the season. Votes for two and four events failed.
