The league will be limited to 28 teams.

The league will start on April 27, 2017 and run 16 weeks with an extra week for rain outs to August 17, 2017. The extra week would be used for a fun night or to make up a rain out date. The championships round is scheduled to be played on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, Thursday, August 24, 2017, and Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

Steak night for members will be on the last night of the first half and a make up night the following week.

General Play

All members will start play establishing their handicap on the first night.

Play can start at 4:00 PM and must start by 5:45 PM.

Senior players 70 years of age and older may play from the red tees. Senior players must make this choice at the beginning of the season and must continue through the end of the season.

To help keep play moving the following rule applies. If a group is approaching the green or on the green, do not start your play in front of them. You may start your play after they tee off or else find another hole which is not backed up.

To help keep play moving the following rule applies. If a player hits two consecutive balls out of bounds, he must drop a ball at the point that the last ball went out of bounds and continue play from that point with a 4 stroke penalty.

To help keep play moving the following rule applies. A ball hit into the creek on holes 5, 6 and 8, will be played from the designated drop zone after taking the appropriate penalty. The creek on all other holes will be played by USGA rules.

To help keep play moving the following rule applies. There shall be no more than 5 players in a group.

If a team does not show up by the 5:45 deadline, the present team may play on as a twosome to compete for day money and points. Points are earned by playing against par*.

If a team can't play on league night and wish to compete for points, they must notify the other team by the Wednesday before league play. Competition is by mutual agreement. These teams do not compete for day money. Teams may play a makeup round on any other night up to the following Monday night for posting purposes and if one team forfeits the remaining team plays against par* to receive the points.

Any un-gentlemanly conduct by a team member will result in the immediate suspension of the team for that day and the league officers will meet to vote on length of suspension.

Scoring System

The league will use a 5 point scoring system. The A players will play for 2 points, one for Low Net for Match (Stroke) and one for Most Holes Won for Match (Net). The B players will play for 2 points, one for Low Net for Match (Stroke) and one for Most Holes Won for Match (Net). The final point will be 1 point for Team Most Holes Won for Match (Net), for a 5 point total.

When an individual or team does not show up, the present individual or team plays against par*. Par* for this scoring will be 38 for individuals and 76 for teams.

Play During Inclement Weather

Rain outs will be called by 3:30 PM by the golf course superintendant. If a weather warning arises after the start of play, the golf course superintendant and clubhouse will call off play. If the weather warning passes in time, play may resume and the round finished.

If play is called off by the superintendant and clubhouse during league and play cannot resume after the weather warning, the following rules apply. If you stop play before you have completed 4 holes you can play the match on another day. A substitute is allowed if the round is played over. If you have played 4 or more holes and have to stop you must finish the round from that point on another day. There can be no substituting players on the remaining round. If one or the other team cannot finish the round on another day, the team that shows up plays against par* to earn the points.

Teams may play a make up round on any other night up to the following Monday night for posting purposes and if one team forfeits the remaining team plays against par* to receive the points.
